Nós da “The ABC American English Language Center” temos trabalhado com sucesso durante os últimos nove anos para as seguintes empresas: Volkswagen, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Sonnervig, EDS, Itaú, Scania, Texaco, Johnson & Johnson, Russi Auto Pecas, G.M., Brasmetal, Inox Tubos, Cummings, Cofap, CBC, Philip Morris, Wide Images, entre outras empresas. Proporcionamos aulas individuais ou em pequenos grupos, traduções, currículos em inglês, aulas preparatórias para todos os testes principalmente TOEFL, como também, preparação para entrevistas e viagens internacionais.

Nossa metodologia de aulas dá ênfase à conversação, contudo elas podem ser direcionadas da forma que for mais conveniente às necessidades do aluno, dosando o número de aulas de gramática, conversação, listening, etc;

We are The ABC American English Language Center and we have been giving with great success, personalized English lessons to all levels for the last seven years. Some of the companies that we are currently giving classes to are Ford, Sonnervig, EDS, Itaú,Texaco, Johnson & Johnson, Johnson Controls, Inc., Russi Auto Pecas, G.M., Brasmetal; among others. We have done Simultaneous Translations for Wide Images and other enterprises. We provide English classes for private students and/or small groups, translations resumes in English, preparatory classes for all English standardized testing, as well as, preparation for interviews and international trips.

Our class methodology emphasizes conversation, although it can be directed to the students’ convenience, establishing the amount of grammar, conversation and listening,

Scott Ellis Chalom

Nativo de Los Angeles, antropólogo formado pela Universidade da Califórnia de Los Angeles (UCLA) e auditor de meio ambiente pela Universidade da Califórnia, Irvine. Foi empresário, vendedor, como também professor de escolas estaduais em Los Angeles. Lecionou em diversas escolas particulares de idiomas. Atualmente, faz traduções para varias empresas e e sócio-diretor de The ABC American English Language Center. Ainda leciona em empresas.

Cecilia Bienes Chalom

Psicóloga formada pela Universidade Metodista.Professora e tradutora com um certificado da Universidade da Califórnia de Los Angeles (UCLA). Fez traduções para o Estado de São Paulo, EDS, Levi’s, Ryder, Brasmetal, GM;entre muitas outras empresas. Lecionou em empresas e escolas particulares. Atualmente leciona, faz traduções e e sócio-diretora da The ABC American English Language Center.



Scott Ellis Chalom




With a BA in Anthropology, from UCLA and an Environmental Auditing Certificate from UC Irvine he has been an entrepreneur, salesman, American ESL teacher, translator as well as having taught in the LA Unified School System. He has done translations for many companies. He has taught in several language schools and currently is co-director of The ABC American English Language Center where he teaches and does translations.

Cecilia Bienes Chalom

Teacher, translator and psychologist. Metodista graduate, with certificates received from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) extension. She has done translations for O Estado de São Paulo newspaper, EDS, Levi’s, Ryder, among many other companies. She also has worked as a teacher in companies, language and private schools. Currently she is co-director of The ABC American English Language Center where she teaches and does translations.

In regards to pricing, please remember, as John Ruskin had put it more than a 100 years ago,

"There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man's lawful prey."

So, Scott’s 2008 price Schedule begins at R$75,00 per class and Cecilia's begins at R$55,00 per class. The final price depends on the frequency of your classes, so please call and speak to us about it before making your final decision. You are investing in your future, so you really should have the best teacher available in ABC!!!!
